What students do on holidays

On Presidents Day weekend, I got a few calls from friends needing some guidance with programming, and I was more than happy to help. Besides finding it fun, it's pretty convenient to help over the internet -- that is, not having to shower or get out of my PJ's. (You think I'm kidding?!?!)

Looking for a sound artist

In a previous news post, I wrote about looking for a graphic designer. On top of this, and for the same project, I am looking for a sound artist to jump aboard. Click here to read the other post.

The job is really simple: either create little sound clips (anywhere from 0.5 to 2 seconds long), or find usable ones on the web.

If interested, please contact me.

Looking for a graphic designer

One of the projects I'm currently working on requires some 2D sprites, and so I'm looking for someone to help out with this. There shouldn't be more than 5-10 sprites to design. For anyone not familiar with the term "sprite", I mean just a simple, small 2D graphic.

The graphics should be done in a computer graphics program, so all I ask from anyone interested is to be familiar with one (or be willing to learn).

New website underway!

About a year ago, I had lost a pretty awesome flash site due to an unfortunately-timed server crash and hard drive failure. I could never seem to find the time to get another site up and running.

Yesterday afternoon, a friend of mine, Aldo Garcia, told me about a very cool Valentine's Day/President's Day special, wherein unlimited web hosting was being offered for only $10 a year.

With that sort of deal, my recent need for a working site and online database, I'm back!
